When you tap on a story another one comes up. Also when you open a story with a video it comes on with the sound on.

Basically a copy paste of ABC New alerts and the local news links intermittently take you to the story they are highlighting

The latest update has horrible formatting.

App will not scroll in any of the explore secrions. News outdated on weekends.

The app never takes you to the story you wanted. What’s the point of having different stories available if it just keeps taking me back to the last one that loaded successfully?! Other news apps don’t have this problem. Maybe it’s time for them to hire a new app developer.

Not enough updated news throughout the day

Disappointing with the layout and navigation of the information.

Since it has been updated so only a few words appear i. titles, i do not bother opening!!! Just a bad news update!!!

Your station has been glitching all day yesterday and again today. I’ve watched other stations and yours is the only station doing this. What is going on?

Not as objective as I would expect

EVERY story / update on Donald Trump is negative and Kamala Harris is positive. How can this be? Any stories about the current high inflation rate? How about the international crises? How about the wide open border and how illegals are draining the resources that should be going to US Citizens ? How about questions on why these things weren’t fixed when Harris was in office? No such stories or questions. Just always negative on Donald Trump. I deleted the app and won’t ever install again. I get my news now from Steve Kelley from Fox 29.

When I try to scroll down on the My News, Interests section, it stops, try’s to reload, and then I get a white screen. This has been happening for about a week now. I have deleted and redownload the app but it didn’t fix it.

Channel 6 news is the best I think my entire family watches channel 6 news.

Been doing some of my own debating and will no longer watch any channel 6 news or events I now will be watching NBC and Fox

You have lost your way. You are no longer believable for any information or news Like the rest of ABC you are so biased towards the liberal factions that you cannot even report factual information w/o bias. I will no longer watch your station. Who needs you.

These new updated versions of the app make it totally impossible to read the news. After about 5 mins of the app being used, it wants to degrade and become sluggish and unresponsive. It gets to the point that my iPad won’t even shutdown. All other news apps that I use(like NBC10 and others) do not have this issue. There is definitely a malfunction. Hoping the developers can see this as I’m not getting any help from the tech support. ONE STAR UNTIL IT’S FIXED AS ITS USELESS FOR ME.

Video will auto play and the sound will not stop even when the app is closed. This violates iOS guidelines. I would have thought it would be fixed by not but nothing yet. I may delete the app.

Headlines never correspond to the story, freezes frequently, and the ad placement will have you clicking them constantly to try and navigate news stories.

Bug(s) - after viewing a story and/or video and leaving the app for an indefinite period of time, upon returning to the app via clicking on a notification for a different story, I am stuck in the previous story I was viewing hours ago. The only way out of it and view the correct story is to force close. This has been an issue for some time now.

The reporting from the RNC is terrible. Talk about how you went from concern of a person a week ago to the negative, degrading word choices.

Good afternoon, I am a loyal viewer of 6ABC however I have notice even today when you are giving advice on who to check on during this heatwave you put Animals first on the list Then children then the elderly may I ask that you change it so humans are always first when you are listing in any event who to look out for. It’s discouraging that whomever is writing this consider Animals more important than the elderly and Children. Makes no sense and I am a life long animal owner and advocate but come on let’s get this right !! People are more important than animals so correct the list to show humans first then pets Thank you shame I have to say this but geez my grandmother and daughter are first and for most then my pet

Channel 6 used to be a really good news station. They have become woke, ghetto and left anymore.

Every time I open the app now I’m assaulted by a message telling me that I have to update terms of service. I’ve already done this so stop it please or lose me.

For us being a major city, the lack of coverage on all stories and follow ups on past stories has become really a joke. Your app and the lack of content is very disappointing.

When you have False stories that you do not fact check and just regurgitate right wing talking points proves why no one watches your news anymore

Bad customer relations

I enjoyed this app until recently. Now all I get is a blue screen with a very faint “ABC” in the middle. Nothing I do will open this app.

It’s the only way I can watch 6 sec since Xfinity removed it from our channels. So that’s good. The commercials are the same every break and play on a loop, sometimes 3 times. On occasion they play right thru the weather or sports. Still better than nothing.

We already know the world is on fire. Reporting every shooting is not helping any of us!! Try something positive for the love of god!

It doesn’t flow like the previous version. It’s very repetitive and doesn’t have as many stories as before.

Deleted and reloaded app. Still just a blank blue screen. Saw some reviews from others. Seems to be like this for a bit.

I use an antenna for local tv and for some reason abc doesn’t come in. So I download the app. Why why WHY can’t there be a Cast button so I can send what’s on the app to my TV????

The previous version was far superior. Easier to navigate and the weather section was bigger and gave a better View of 5 day forecast. Very disappointed in this version

Hi there. For the second time in a few months, notifications from the app have been silent. I can see them, but they come in silently without noise or vibration. This is not an issue with my phone being on silent or vibrate because my dads phone is doing it silently as well. Can you change it?

This version of the app is basically useless. It relies heavily on video and has a really weird way of prioritizing what is shown. Articles are often old, navigation is strange, video never loads.

I liked the app before you changed it. Feel there was more to read.

I like your format better than other news apps but the wrong image thing and oftentimes the writing is surprisingly amateurish.

When I open your app, I want to see every choice box that can be clicked on to open. Make a tab for World, Phila, Sports, Weather, and at the shore cam so I can see a flag, wind direction and wave heights. Allow me to access a tab immediately without surfing around looking for it. Allow me to choose the order in which I’ll read or view each tab. I love 6ABC.Brand loyal so I’m really trying to help make it better/easier to navigate

Stop sending updates that aren’t updates. You keep saying it breaking news when it’s not. Just the same story repeated. Especially the escaped prisoner reports.

Over the last year the evolution of this app has gone backwards. No longer have the ability to see a broad selection of content. Customizing your news feed has become a joke and gives no granular control. I have gone back to using the website to get complete access to the local news I want.

A Breaking News notification, upon being activated, seldom results in showing that news story in the App. Either corresponding video does not work, or the news story itself that opens in the App is not related to the notification.

Want to know who was shot in Philly? What about an armed robbery? This app is for you. Interested in knowing if the Phillies won? Oh, that almost never appears without having to dig into the app. Im sure I could take time to customize content, but to have the default always be the shock stories and never see something like the Phillies results is disappointing. The new version, with full screen articles, isn’t easy to navigate. When you go into an article, then go back to the home page, it always takes you back to the top, even when the article was further down the screen. You have to scroll back down to where you were. Repeatedly. Annoying.
