Annoyance eliminated. UI is tasty!

Theres a bug. A bug that is repeatedly ignored. It may not be important to everyone but its important to me. My iPad sits on a desk 99% of the time Its a case with a keyboard so it sits landscape like a regular computer. This app has a bug that if you click ANY link that takes you outside of 6ABC that the app overrides my screen orientation (which is locked into landscape btw). The only way to fix it is to complete quit the app and relaunch. Ive submitted bug reports and it never gets fixed...including this version which I just installed. Ill give 5 stars when and IF you actually fix it. Not everyone uses their iPad in portrait orientation and some prefer to hold their phones in landscape as well.

Would be a great news app, but if you accidentally open a video, youre faced with a 30 second long ad with no way to cancel out of it. This violates apple user experience guidelines and ruins the app

Was a good app. Now says "Good Morning" no matter the time of day, and content hasnt updated since January 29. Today is February 2.

There are some stories that are newsworthy...and others that I dont feel need constant "breaking news alerts". The Bill Cosby case is one of them. An update a day is okay, but every 15 minutes or less gets old!!!

This app is better than the other Philly TV News Apps, but it is not without annoyances: (1). Every video is pre-ceded with a 30 second commercial. I understand that commercials are a fact of life, after all something has to pay for the development and content. It should, however, be reasonable! To have to sit through a 30 second ad before ever 15 video is ridiculous! The ads are twice as long as the content. (2) No escape from the ads Worse yet, once an ad starts playing there is no escape. No cancel button, no skip button, no exit.... Youre stuck watching it!

I used this app several times a day for a long time. It workED perfectly until this forced update. It is useless now. Dead on new ipad and old ipod. Total failure!!!

Used to like this app. Now it doesnt even launch. Dumping for NBC 10. Gave it another try. Will not launch. Keeps crashing. Need to fix this. Storm Tracker works well.crashing again need to fix this app

What happened? Used to work fine. Now it wont open crashes or says no network connection. Awful. All my other apps work fine. Its your app not my device. You gotta fix it!!!! So unlike you.....

This was my favorite app for local news and now every time I try to open it - it crashes!!! Is this from the forced update?? Fix it quickly, please!!!

The red bar at the top that top of the app that quickly scrolls away every 2 seconds is extremely annoying. I get sick reading the article as it happens and have to exit the app sooner than I wish to

I use an ad blocker, weblock to block those annoying 30 minute commercials

30 second commercials before each video news item are way too long. Sometimes the commercial is longer than the news clip. 15 second ads were annoying enough.

Can you stop with the 30 second commercials every time you want to watch a news story. So annoying.

Who wants to watch a bunch of commercials every time you press play on a video ?? The app used to be good until the barrage of ads the app hits you with. What a waste of your time, get to the news from another source that doesnt bombard you with advertisement campaigns !!

You are forced to watch a 30 second commercial before you can view any videos, and sometimes the commercial is longer than the video or the video doesnt start! Too bad I cant give it no stars....

Great app for news, but when you receive notifications every 2 min it get annoying. Maybe allow customization. Idk but there alerts I thought were breaking news and its not. It annoying and kills my battery. So by 6abc.

....just kidding. The app is sufficient at providing the news, but the news updates they constantly send are annoying. I remember the breaking news notifications would be just for breaking news and not to tune in to their newscast at 5 for updates back when the app first came out. Would like to see a way to customize what types of notifications can appear.

Wayyy. Too many ads. Every time you watch a video you have to watch a 30 second ad first. Very annoying
